Emeral Bakery was established in Corfu in 1977 by Mr. Giannis Koulouridis. It started as a small bakery famous for wood-baked bread and brioche. Then, his sons—Konstantinos and Andreas—joined him, furthering the bakery into pastries and coffee, always at the forefront of quality and innovation.
Today, the Emeral Bakery is known for its traditional brioche, sweet koks, macarons with cream, little tarts, and all sorts of delicious cream cakes. They sell cool cakes, ice cream made of fresh milk and seasonal fruits, steamy bread, crunchy donuts, vanilla cookies, baklava, and custard-filled pastries with goat butter. Richly flavored coffee adds to the lure of this bakery.
The philosophy of Emeral focuses on the transformation of fresh and natural ingredients into exquisite creations, symbolized by two golden flowers—the bakery and pastry arts. It aspires to be the industry leader in the design, research, and development of new products and services, meeting health and dietary quality needs. Emeral aims at the further establishment of its products in the Greek and international markets, the provision of a safe and healthy working environment, and the maintenance of a company satisfying all the needs of its management, employees, customers, and suppliers. Part of the income Emeral makes is used to support socially weak groups of people, expressing thereby its sensitivity to social responsibility and respect toward the environment.
The passion for quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction of the company has positioned the Emeral Bakery as a friendly point of reference in Corfu, looked up to by all visitors and locals who are cherished alike.
