Atlas Elevation

Atlas Elevation is a cutting-edge climbing facility that opened its doors in 2021 in Marrakech and is the first of its kind in Morocco. Other than climbing, it offers a wide variety of activities: fitness classes, youth teams, and a co-working space complete with a café. Certified according to international standards of safety, it aims at being a safe and enriching home for every beginner and confirmed climber. Equipped with modern facilities and a friendly environment, in a very short period of time, it turned out to be the epicenter of the developing climbing community of Morocco.

A dream of a committed group of local climbers, the Atlas Elevation brings together years of collaboration among climbers, associations, and Climb Morocco-a local guiding company. This collaboration is not only about introducing more people to rock climbing, but also about creating a culture for adventure and self-improvement. The climbing gym was designed to be more than just a climbing facility, but one where every individual could push their limits, gain confidence, and muster the courage to overcome any obstacle on and off the wall.

The core of Atlas Elevation is to explore and be in community. The climbing gym wants members to see the world with fresh eyes and to push the edges of possibility while supporting each other along the way. That certainly shows up in some of the key values for the climbing gym, which revolve around belonging and inclusion-what that looks and feels like for everyone who comes into the facility-being seen, accepted, and part of the greater climbing family.

It is also important to note, however, that altruism in itself is considered a core value on which the instillation of Atlas Elevation should be focused, placing the needs of others first. Additionally, it is truly believed in the climbing gym that as one lifts others up-whether through encouragement, guidance, or support-the benefit can be personal and irreversibly change themselves and society as a whole. Courage is another set of core values, wherein gyms try to help others derive their inner strengths to overcome challenges at hand, both within climbing and also in life itself.

Atlas Elevation is much more than just a climbing gym; it's where a mix of adventure, fitness, and community all come together. This facility enables many to actually come together, grow, explore, and develop ways of elevating each other to new heights-a different and transformative space right at the heart of Marrakech.
