Waikiki Brewing Company, founded in 2015, has rapidly climbed the ranks as one of the icons in Hawaii's craft brewing world. Based in Waikiki, the seven-barrel brew house reached production capacity very quickly, which led to rapid expansion to Honolulu's historic brewing district in Kaka'ako. It is there that the company now boasts a 20-barrel brew house, catapulting Waikiki Brewing into the status of the state's third-largest craft beer producer. The third spot opened in 2020 in Lahaina, Maui, offering patrons the chance to enjoy great beer, super ocean views, and a unique brewing experience amidst a backdrop that is arguably one of the most beautiful scenes in the world.

It has gained national accreditation from various competitions such as Great American Beer Festival and US Open Beer Championships. The Black Strap Molasses Porter and Jalapeno Mouth have also been awarded more than one medal each. The brewery sources cans from Kapolei's Ball's manufacturing plant, donates spent grain to a local farm, and upcycles materials like grain bags to support sustainability.
